Spring Party Almere General rental conditions – 2025
Considering that:
1. All rented items remain the property of the lessor Spring Feestje Almere.
2. Lending and/or renting to third parties is not permitted, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The provisions of the general terms and conditions are as follows:
Article 1. Definitions
In these General (rental) conditions, the following terms are used in the following meaning, unless expressly stated otherwise.
1. Spring Feestje Almere: Lessor of, among other things, bouncy castles in Almere
2. The Rented: All goods rented and delivered by Spring Feestje Almere.
3. Renter: Any natural person, not acting in the exercise of a profession or business, who has a contractual relationship with Spring Feestje Almere by virtue of an Agreement concluded with Spring Feestje Almere.
4. Agreement: The (rental) Agreement concluded between Spring Feestje Almere and Renter to which these General rental conditions apply.
5. Written: Writing as in a written document, as well as in the form of electronic writing such as e-mail or a messaging application.
Article 2. Applicability
1.These General rental conditions apply to all agreements concluded by Spring Feestje Almere, rented and delivered goods, as well as services provided in consultation or on request.
2. Spring Feestje Almere has the right to change the General rental conditions at any time.
3. The latest version of the General rental conditions will always be published on our website
Article 3. Formation of the Agreement
1. Quotations are without obligation, unless otherwise agreed.
2. A quotation is valid for seven days, after which it expires.
3. Specific rental requests from the Tenant are binding and constitute an offer to conclude an Agreement. In this case, the Agreement is concluded by written acceptance by Spring Feestje Almere of the Tenant's rental request.
4. The Agreement is also concluded at the moment that the Tenant has accepted a quotation or offer from Spring Feestje Almere.
Article 4. Rental period
1. The rental period commences on the agreed date, but in any case no later than the day on which the rented item is made available to the tenant by Spring Feestje Almere.
2. The rental period is one (1) day, unless otherwise agreed. The rented item can, if available, be picked up a day earlier free of charge. You will receive a time slot for pick-up in the confirmation email. Please note! The product may only be used on the pick-up day after consultation and (written) permission from Spring Feestje Almere. If you use the product without consultation and (written) permission, Spring Feestje Almere will charge rental costs for this, as if the rented item is rented an extra day. The rental costs for an extra day are stated on our website for each product.
3. Returning the item earlier does not entitle you to a refund of the rental amount. Even if the rented item has not been used.
4. If the rented item has not yet been reserved for the following day, the rental period can be extended by one day.
Article 5. Collection and return of the rental
1. Spring Feestje Almere does not deliver. All prices shown are based on self-collection and return, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The rented item will be collected and returned at the location of Spring Feestje Almere on a pre-agreed day and time
2. Spring Feestje Almere is entitled and will always ask for a valid ID from the renter. We note the name, date of birth, address and contact details of the renter and store these. This information will be destroyed within 14 days after receiving the rented item back, provided there are no defects. If a valid ID is not shown, the lessor can decide not to provide the goods and to unilaterally terminate the agreement without any claim in this regard.
3. Spring Feestje Almere is not a customs or other agency with extensive knowledge in the field of foreign IDs. We rent out springkussens! This means that in case of identification with a foreign identity document that is unknown to us, an additional verification will take place by transferring 1 cent from a Dutch account number that is in the name of the renter to an account number of Spring Feestje Almere of your choice.
4. We do not help with loading or unloading the rented item. If you still want help, this is at your own risk. We are never liable for any damage of any kind. The renter is responsible for safe and responsible transport of the rented item.
5. The rented item is given clean and dry. An inspection will take place immediately upon return. If the rented item is not clean or dry, €50 in (cleaning) costs will be charged for this, per rented item and will be settled with the paid deposit.
6. If there is damage as a result of incorrect use, use of confetti or theft, the renter will receive an invoice for this, which will be collected by legal means if necessary. Damage caused by confetti will result in a standard invoice of €150 to €250, depending on the amount of stains.
7. If the return date is exceeded, the tenant owes the landlord an immediately due and non-mitigable fine equal to the expired rental periods, without prejudice to the landlord's right to any further compensation.
Article 6. Tenant's obligations
1. The rented property must be treated in accordance with the operating and other regulations, including those regarding construction, supervision and safety, which were communicated and/or handed over to the tenant upon delivery; Not to make any changes to the rented goods; The tenant may not carry out repairs without the permission of the lessor; To grant the lessor access to the rented property at all times.
2. Upon receipt of the rented property, the tenant will check whether everything is present or has been delivered in good condition. In the event of any shortage and/or defect, Spring Feestje Almere will be contacted immediately by telephone. If a shortage or defect is not reported immediately, in any case before use, the tenant automatically agrees to the delivery.
3. The tenant bears the full risk and responsibility for the rented property during the time that it is made available to the tenant. The tenant will insure the rented property if necessary and keep it insured against damage due to molestation, loss, theft, damage, etc., including as a result of fire. At night, the rented property is kept clean, dry and rolled up, sheltered in a place that is not freely accessible to third parties.
4. If the tenant is unable, for whatever reason, to return the rented property to the lessor, the tenant must pay the lessor compensation to be determined by him, equal to the replacement value of the rented property. The costs for any legal remedies taken in order to collect this claim will also be recovered from the tenant.

6. If a permit is required for the use of the rented property, the tenant is responsible for obtaining this permit in a timely manner.
Article 7. Special obligation of landlord/tenant
1. In accordance with article 19 paragraph 1 of the Commodities Act Decree on amusement and play equipment 2023, the tenant undertakes to send photos or a video to Spring Feestje Almere after the rental has been set up, which at least shows the anchoring of the bouncy castle. This is with a view to the safe use of the rental. Spring Feestje Almere can, if necessary, provide guidance and advice before the bouncy castle is put into use.
2. In this case, communication with images takes place via WhatsApp, on the mobile number of Spring Feestje Almere (06-421251470). If you do not use WhatsApp, you must email the photo to sprinfeestjealmere@gmail.com.
3. If the special obligation set out in the first paragraph has not been met, the bouncy castle may never be put into use.
Article 8. Prices
1. All prices listed are for a rental period of one (1) day.
2. The rental period can be extended by one (1) day for a reduced amount if the rental is available.
3. For a rental period longer than two days, a price applies on request.
3. All prices listed are exempt from VAT (OB pursuant to article 25 of the OB Act). Therefore, no VAT is charged to the customer.
4. A mandatory deposit is requested for each rented item, which is stated with the item on the website.
Article 9. Payment
1. Payment, including the mandatory deposit, must be made in cash when collecting the rental. You cannot pay by card with us.
2. The rental will only be given after payment of the rental amount and the mandatory deposit.
3. When returning, you will receive the deposit back in cash immediately, provided that no defects have been found.
Article 10. Cancellation by tenant
1. Cancellation must always be made in writing.
2. A reservation can be moved or cancelled free of charge up to 14 days before the rental date.
2. If the rental is cancelled within 14 days before the rental date, half of the rental amount will be charged to the tenant.
3. If the rental is cancelled within 7 days before the rental date, the full rental amount will be charged to the tenant.
4. The tenant can always cancel free of charge if weather conditions make it impossible to use the rental. This includes heavy rainfall, hail, snow or wind from wind force 6. This is always assessed by Spring Feestje Almere.
5. If the rental is already in the possession of the tenant on the rental date, it can no longer be cancelled free of charge after 10:00 on this day.
Article 11. Force Majeure
1. In the event of force majeure within the meaning of article 6:75 BW, the parties are not obliged to execute the agreement and all costs already incurred in connection with the execution of the agreement will be borne by the party that incurred them. The parties indemnify each other from any claim in this regard. Force majeure also includes transport and/or traffic problems as well as agreements not fulfilled by previous tenant(s).
2. Amounts already paid by the tenant will be returned in full by Spring Feestje Almere in the event of non-delivery.
Article 12. Liability
1. The use of the rented property is at all times at the risk of the tenant. Any liability for direct, indirect or consequential damage is excluded and is for the account of the tenant. The tenant will also indemnify the landlord against all claims from third parties.
2. Spring Feestje Almere accepts no responsibility for damage to persons, clothing or other items when using the rented property.
3. The tenant is liable for all damage suffered (theft, damage, loss, etc.) during his rental period.
4. The tenant is obliged to read and maintain all written and oral instructions provided regarding use, installation and safety.
Additional terms of delivery:
1. The use of the articles other than those described in the manual is not permitted.
2. The bouncy castle may only be used under the supervision of an adult (18 years and older).
3. There must be 1 supervisor present per bouncy castle as long as it is inflated and this supervisor must be recognisable as such.
4. The supervisor must ensure that the conditions of use and safety are met.
5. The bouncy castle may not be left unattended.
6. Always place the bouncy castle on a flat surface.
7. Preferably place the bouncy castle on a soft surface such as grass.
8. Always place the bouncy castle on the ground sheet provided.
9. Check the ground for dirt and sharp objects.
10. Check the traffic situation on site and pay attention to the risk of collision and traffic barriers.
11. Ensure there is sufficient free space of at least 1.5 metres around the bouncy castle. 12. The ground around the entrance to the cushion must be sufficiently shock-absorbing, possibly by means of a fall cushion.
13. The bouncy castle must be secured to the ground with the supplied locking pins and tension straps. If these are not supplied, please contact us immediately before setting up and using the bouncy castle. The ground pins must be placed in such a way that the bouncy castle can still slide. (The ropes to which they are attached must therefore hang slack) This is to prevent tearing.
14. Check every hour whether the bouncy castle is still in the correct position and meets all standards. If unusual damage is found that could endanger the user, immediately stop using the cushion and contact Spring Feestje Almere
15. The bouncy castle must not be used or inflated at a wind force of 5 Bft or more. Risk of very serious injury or damage!
16. The minimum age of the users is 3 years, the maximum age is 10 years.
17. The maximum height of the users is 140 cm.
18. The maximum weight of the users is indicated on the side of the bouncy castle.
19. The maximum number of users is indicated on the side of the bouncy castle.
20. The ages of the users should be as similar as possible.
21. The use of jewelry, shoes, sharp or hot objects, make-up, food, drinks, chewing gum, animals, etc. on the bouncy castle is not permitted.
22. It is not permitted to smoke or be under the influence of alcohol / mind-altering substances when using and / or supervising the bouncy castle.
23. People with glasses, braces and / or other protruding objects are advised to take them off / remove them before entering the bouncy castle. Risk of injury or damage!
24. It is prohibited to climb on the outside walls and / or arches. Real risk of very serious injury!
25. It is not allowed to wrestle or push each other on the bouncy castle.
26. Do not play on or near the step of the bouncy castle.
27. It is forbidden to use confetti due to the risk of irreparable damage.
28. No open fire or barbecue in the vicinity of the bouncy castle.
29. Ensure there is an earthed power connection in the vicinity of the bouncy castle (free power group). The blower uses approximately 1,100 watts, take this into account.
30. Do not use the air blower if the cord is damaged.
31. Keep children away from the air blower.
32. Never switch off the air blower while there are still people on the bouncy castle. Risk of serious injury!
33. If the bouncy castle starts to lose pressure, all users must leave it immediately. Risk of serious injury!
34. In the event of a power failure or a malfunction of the air blower, the bouncy castle may not be used. In the event of a power failure, ensure that all participants leave the bouncy castle immediately. Risk of serious injury!
35. Remove the plug from the socket by pulling the plug and never by pulling the cord.
36. When using an extension cord, unwind it completely and protect the socket from water.
37. There must be sufficient lighting.
38. In the event of rain, the bouncy castles become very slippery and cannot be used until they have been dried. Always leave the bouncy castle on in the rain. This is to prevent the bouncy castle from filling up with water.
39. In the event of heavy rainfall such as a downpour, everyone must leave the bouncy castle immediately and carefully and switch off the air blower so that it becomes flat. Immediately after this, the bouncy castle is released from the locking pins on one side and you fold one half over the other half so that more rainwater can fall on the top of the bouncy castle, but cannot run into it either.
40. Our bouncy castles are not suitable for use with water or a lubricant such as soapy water. When using this, the bouncy castle becomes slippery and unusable and there is an increased risk of injuries.
41. In warm weather, users must wear protective clothing when using the bouncy castles to prevent abrasions and other injuries.
